Psalms03.03 “But You, O LORD, are a shield about me, My glory, & the One who lifts my head.”
The word “shield” in Hebrew is “Magen” which means shield, protector & defense.
What we know as the “Star of David” in Hebrew is “Magen David”. Taking this a step further, the Israeli equivalent of the American Red Cross is “Magen David Adom (MDA)”, the red star of David.
So we see that our LORD is our shield, & just as the Israeli army (IDF) protects those under the Magen David (the Israeli Flag), so too will our LORD. Just as the Magen David Adom rescues & takes care of those who are in need, so does our LORD!
He is our shield!
Psalms03.33b “But He is intimate with the upright.”
Cling to Him & be intimate with Him!
