Now in our daily reading (Exodus34-36) we see they began work on the Tabernacle.
Exodus 36:2 “2 Then Moses called Bezalel & Oholiab & every skillful person in whom the LORD had put skill, everyone whose heart stirred him, to come to the work to perform it.”
Bezalel & Oholiab were two men that God had given an ability to construct things. What set these men apart from all others was not their skill, but their zeal.
03 things about these guys...
01. They were skillful
02. Their hearts stirred to work
03. They did their job
What set these two apart from everyone else is those three things above.
Before you think to yourself, “I’m not like Bezalel & Oholiab. I’m not skillful.” But you are!
Paul tells us…
1 Corinthians 12:4-11 “4 Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are varieties of ministries, & the same Lord. 6 There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. 7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. 8 For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, & to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, & to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, 10 & to another the effecting of miracles, & to another prophecy, & to another the distinguishing of spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, & to another the interpretation of tongues. 11 But one & the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.”
Paul tells us under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit that we are given gifts of the Spirit.
Paul then tells us what the greatest gift is…
1 Corinthians 13:13 “13 …but the greatest of these is love.”
Pray & ask God how He wants you to use your gifts.
If you don’t know what your gift is, pray & ask God to show you what your gifts are.
Whatever the case, use your gifts for YHWH!
